A star-studded host committee, Academy Awards® nominees and presenters, along with some of the most powerful industry influencers come together the night before the Oscars for the annual Night Before a party to benefit MPTF (The Motion Picture & Television Fund). Funds raised during the now-legendary evening will be used to support MPTF in providing social services, financial assistance, a renowned retirement community and innovative programs for seniors and those who care for them. The organization impacts thousands of people each year who have committed their lives to a career in entertainment.
The event is held at Fox Studios, Los Angeles. The starry event celebrates a milestone that benefits the Motion Picture & Television Fund in providing social services and financial assistance to the entertainment community, as well as its retirement community and innovative programs for seniors and caregivers. Elton John Oscar Viewing Dinner and After Party: Sunday 02nd March 2025, Los Angeles, USA, USA
The Elton John AIDS Foundation’s annual Academy Awards Viewing Party will take place on Oscars night Sunday 02nd March 2025 in West Hollywood Park. This year’s edition will be an incredible evening which will commence with cocktails and red carpet, after which guests will be seated for a gala dinner and viewing of the Oscar telecast, a live auction, and dancing late into the night will follow. This will be a fantastic celebration featuring a performance by Sam Fender, and iMDb will return to host their live Oscars coverage from the party. Events Host Heidi Klum, Diane Lane, Eric McCormack and Billy Porter, along with the Hosts of Netflix Queer Eye, will oversee the festivities.
Sir Elton and his husband, David Furnish, are toasting a major milestone this year as their EJAF event celebrates 29 years and more than $68.2 million raised for the cause since the event’s inception. Previously Chef Gordon Ramsay handled the menu, this year turntable duties will again fall to DJ Johnny Dynell.
